Hi. My car was damaged in the car park of a hotel. Damage is about €300 worth.

Can I make a claim against the hotel for the damage?

Why? Did the hotel do the damage? Have you not got your vehicle insured?

You could ask the hotel if they have any CCTV footage of damage being caused, which can help identify who caused the damage. You can report the incident to the Gardai, and let them see if the hotel have CCTV footage.

But, the hotel themselves are not responsible for the damage to your car.

Sorry, I should have provided more info. No CCTV, don't know who did it.

Would the hotel not have responsibility as I was booked into tge hotel and as such a guest?

If you were an overnight guest you may have a claim.

Anything beyond the classic exclusion clause cases when it comes to being booked into hotels?
