    Dobar dan all,

Just wondering if someone has a contact number for eBay customer support in Ireland? The freephone number is fairly useless outside of the country, and so far they've functionally ignored all emails.

    Hvala,

If you go to http://ocs.ebay.ie/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ContactCS select a type of problem some will give you a phone number to call, others only email. The number given for My Account issues with reason someone has used my account is 1800948010

Yes but 1800 is an Irish freephone number... I'm not in Ireland, nor will I be for some time I suspect.

There was a 24 hour number but that belongs to PayPal now.

What country are you in? I think for most Europe the customer service is in Ireland, so if you follow same steps in UK, France, etc you might get a number to call. Even in US help center might help you with your Irish account.

Unfortunately all they provide is the 1800 number, which does not work in Croatia, and while I have contacted US support they were singularly unhelpful. The girl clearly could not understand my incredibly neutral Irish accent (if you didn't know me you would not know where I was from, at least not right away), nor did she seem concerned that I had a problem. I received no response from them, nor the followup phone call I was promised.

I experienced a similar problem with an old account and set this one up absolutely years ago. Now, because I'm abroad, I can't do the same.

The wife has an account and I'll be forced to use that, but I'd rather my own one. Oh the drama of it all. Cheers everyone for the assistance.
