Portable Media Player?

Hey Folks, I am looking for a portable device that I could connect a harddrive to and play files on. Basically like a portable DVD player except it plays AVI, MP4 etc from an external source... does such a device exist? Thanks, Dave

Any tablet with a USB connection will do.
