**i have posted an altered version of this thread in leaving cert but im hoping to get a point of view from people in the renewable energies side of things who know what they are talking about when it come to renewable energies.**
Starting my leaving cert construction project very soon and im looking for some advice renewable energies and applying them to my project.
Looking at last years projects the models of energy efficient houses, equipment, building element that are finished well got the highest points and helped them when it came to theory as they had studied in depth a energy saving topic which was more than likely going to come up and probably will come up again this year as this seems to be the way building and lifestyle in general is headed.
Im thinking of making a model building which incorporates alot of planet friendly, energy effiecent, non loss of heat, money saving ideas into the building.
although im also open to alot of other suggestions as to what is getting the high marks.
also if there are any construction builders or anyone who knows about new efficient ways of building or product/features that would be great to get something new.
    thanks
