Check the department of foregin affairs website www.dfa.ie for conditions of entry, some countries you need a visa before entry. Visafirst and trailfinders are very good. Enjoy:D

visa on arrival is good just check out what you need you need your confirmation email and a passport sized photo after that i'm not sure.
when i went i sent off for the visa took about 3 weeks in the post from the embassy in london.

I used visa on arrival this summer..Its a great system. I applied for my visa through www.myvietnamvisa.com it took about 2 days to get emailed the two forms and cost $20. When we arrived in Hanoi we gave it into the kiosk, they gave back our passport about 10 mins later with the visa inside...cost $25 more and you need one passport sized photo...(my friend got the visa through the embassy in London and it cost 90 euro). Visa on arrival can only be used when you arrive by air into Hanoi or HCMC.
