shopping trolley traps

    now im in no way telling ye to go robbing trolleys for a euro a pop in tesco and lidl :D
    but since your all trap mad the last few days i said id stick this up as a mate sent me the link for it
    its a way of making traps from old trolleys

    He made a lovely job out of those:cool: - if people are looking for old trolleys along the lines of the ones in that link,they are currently cleaning/draining parts of the Grand Canal in Dublin where plenty of old ones can be had.

    it wasnt me who made them grizz so im unable to get a close up pic

    but from looking at the pictures... it looks like when the animal pushes down the timber... theres a cable or something similar connected between the timber and the loop on the top of the cage
    this then rotates the bar as its cable tied to the top of the cage (loosely) and the hook at the end
    moves out of the way of one of the bars on the door of the cage
    which allows the door fall down and close

    It's the same idea as the live rat/mink traps, you can get a good eyeball on one in any good farm shop or hardware store
