    Go to all your lectures.

    Pretty much this.

If you have any continuous assessment, then make sure you do it. It's shocking the amount of people who don't turn up for weekly class tests or don't submit marked homework etc. Each bit might seem like only a tiny percentage (maybe only 1 or 2%) but it all adds up.

If there's homework to submit that isn't part of your continuous assessment, make sure you do that too. A lot of people ignore assignments and work that isn't part of your module grade but this is your chance to get feedback from your lecturers without losing any marks. Seriously, do the homework and keep it all in a folder to review before your exams.

Essays - get started on them early. DON'T leave them till the last few days before the deadline. The main reason for this (aside from less stress and pressure on yourself) is library books. If you're sharing an essay title with your class, then the books you need will all be well gone by the weeks coming up to the deadline. Get in there early, get your books, make your notes and avoid the last minute panic.

The main thing is to keep on top of your work. If you go to a lecture and don't understand what happened, don't ignore it. Have a look over the notes yourself later, research it online, find a simpler explanation - do whatever it takes for you to understand it. Then write down your own explanation and file it away. You'll be shocked at how quickly the semester goes by - 12 weeks is nothing but the lecturers will pack a shít ton of information into that time. Trying to understand new things 1 week before your exams will get you nowhere.

    Good luck :)

    1. Go to all your lectures

    2. Try do at least 2 hours of study a day

    3. Do all your homework/Assignments/CA's

    4. Ask for help if you need it.

If you do this you should be grand

Yeah going to all your lectures helps a lot.. the key to passing is not learning stuff off but understanding it. Cramming will only get you so far, trust me on that one, my degree took me 6 years.. The last of which i actually put in the hours and surprised even myself.

    Good advice.

Also don't fall behind and make sure you really understand the stuff!

The obvious stuff that's already been said really. There isn't an easy way to get a degree, moodle will only help a certain amount so work all through the semester.
