BOI Visa Debit Cards

    Are these a direct substitue for Visa Credit Cards for online payments? Where I see a Visa pay option, where credit/debit card is not specified, will the debit card work ?

    A direct substitute no, though they should work anywhere Visa is accepted.

    They're debit cards, you must have funds present to support the transaction.

    I've made a couple of purchases already on ebay using PayPal with my Visa Debit. No problems there

    Only problem so far is I can't seem to get it to work on Dominos.

    Sorry to take away from the original question here OP but I was wondering if anbody can give me some info. I got a letter in the post ages ago about having my ATM card replaced with this Visa Debit card but I've lost the letter since then. Should I have received it in the post by now or what's the story?

    What's the expiry date on your current ATM/Laser card ? They're sending out the new Visa Debits based on the expiry date, the shorter the expiry date the sooner you'll get it. If yours is a long way from expiring, then you might be waiting quite a while yet I'm afraid.
