Hey - anyone know is there a good quality less expensive version of Snickers trousers. I'm searching the net here but nothing doing.
    Just can't afford snickers anymore...

Have a look for Bläklader stuff. It's a bit cheaper than Snickers stuff, but it's better quality. Tends to last a bit longer.

Thanks everyone - I'm finding it difficult to get the different brands - anyone know what shops sell them?

Portwest - he won't use - they feel apart too quickly the last time. Blakladder are just as expensive, in fact they were more expensive on the website I found.

So CAT and Doc Marten - anyone know stockists?

I know he Bläklader stuff used to be a bit cheaper than Snickers, but it lasted a hell of a lot longer. Can be gotten in Chadwicks/ Heiton Buckleys.

The CAT gear can be gotten in B&Q. Possibly the Doc Martens stuff as well.

Would Dickie's be any good for that kind of work, or would they not be hard-wearing enough?

I wear them the whole time (I'm a photographer, though, so not exactly going too hard on them).
