Best place to get NATO straps

    Hi,

Have an O1VR incoming (when they're back in stock) and thought I'd get a few NATOs to mix it up a little. As title suggests, was looking for the best pace to source them. I had assumed that I'd find somewhere reasonably cheap to get them, and looked at some of the supplers in the watchband thread. Best priced place I could see was ukwatchstrap.co.uk but unfortunately they won't deliver here.

Everyone at TZ-UK seems to recommend Eddie's NATOs, but there isn't a huge amount of variety there. Trying to find the best value place to get them, I am getting the sense that there is a huge amount of variation in the quality from different sources. I don't have a huge aversion to paying for better quality ones, but I just don't expect a nylon strap to cost €15 or so from an online retailer.

Has anyone got a goto place for NATO straps that they could recommend?

How about this guy, if you are looking for variety...

They look good, but they're $25 each. Maybe I'm expecting too much.

Eddie's NATOs are very comfortable and soft but I understand what you're saying about the selection available. I wanted a sand one and bought one from RLT and I can't say I'm over the moon about it; it rubs rather a lot and I can't wear it more than one day at a time. I have a few of the multi-coloured ones from various Ebay sellers and I tend to find that the thickness of the cloth against the size of the metal (usually polished) furniture means that it doesn't fasten as solidly as one of Eddie's, for example.

I picked up this one from Sectime this week, very happy with it and quick delivery

I got one from an ebay seller last month, cost €12.30 delivered. It's my first NATO, and the quality seems quite ok to me. Good range too.

Thanks, thought I better bite the bullet and pick one of them, so went with these guys - through their amazon store because I wanted to buy a couple of them and not be charged delivery for each.
Got one of the ordinary ones, one of the premium ones and a 5 ring Zulu. Will also get a grey one from timefactors for my other incoming flieger, but he doesn't really have any 22mm NATOs - his store is closed for another 3 weeks, but at least I should have a few to compare by the end of October.

Now for a springbar tool and some heavy duty spring bars.......
