    Hi

Anyone have an explanation as to why there was very low flying planes coming into Dublin over Bray and Shankill last night. Coming in every 3 mins or so.

Theyre so loud and this is not a usual flight path.

    Would love to know why!?

    Thanks

Wind direction is coming from the north, which isn't usual, so it is the best runway for ops.

You can download all the standard departure and arrival procedures from the AIP, they'll give you an idea- http://www.iaa.ie/safe_reg/iaip/aip_eidw_charts.htm

If you look at http://www.flightradar24.com/ it will show you where the aircraft are flying and you can also use the playback feature to see past flights too..

That's brilliant haha I've been tracking plans on that site and I can see them pass right over my house when I look out the window:pac:

Quite overcast last night. Its amazing when its clear and you see the huge headlights coming over Bray Head. I remember one night I was out the back stargazing and they were so frequent that just as one plane fly over my location I could see another coming over Bray head. It was literally 1 a minute for about half an hour.

When I realise theres airliners coming in over us like that one always knows a north wind must be blowing.
