    Briarwood Cavelier
K&P Petersons looks like bog oak bowl
RAOB cow head pipe with amber stem

    Stick them on ebay.com

There's very few collectors of wooden smoking pipes in this country....everybody's grandfather had a collection of them and they're too common to be collected widely.

The buffalo head one with the amber stem would be the only one that would have some value,to my mind.

How much value is hard to say,i'd stick it on ebay at 50 dollars and see what happens.

Don't get excited by the sterling silver collars, they were on nearly all of the midrange K&P pipes, typically called 'Premier'. The real high-end pipes, including commemorative models, special editions and the 'De Luxe' range had a sterling silver collar which was cylindrical i.e. did not have the hemispherical curve at the mouthpiece end and they usually featured a mirror cylinder on the bakelite as shown here....

Thanks Im going to pop into Petersons just out of curiosity and see what they make of them just looking for a ball point figure I know they probably arent that valuable but be interesting for them to see what price they give them.

You mentioned bog oak for the pipe with the rough bowl, that is not what it's made from. All K&P wood pipes are made from the root of the briar plant, the ones with the rough surfaces are simply sandblasted to achieve that effect.

The 'Premier' pipes had the sterling silver collar like your one and the 'Shamrock' models which were at the low end of the range had a nickel collar which is the one in your photos with the shamrock stamped on it.

Here's a similar Premier pipe on the Peterson website, after all these years they're still selling the exact same pipe with a sterling silver collar, for €125 these days so you're old model should be viewed in that context i.e. it doesn't have any collectible value.

They look worthless to me. I would not look twice at them.

They're worth the value of the sterling silver on the Premier pipes, not a penny more.
