Hi all I am moving my relations sky box from her house to mine as she is coming to stay for a month or so. I have only free to air in my house and want to know will it just be a case of disconnecting the Box and hooking it up in my spare room( I currently have a working FTA box there just one connection coming from a quad LNB) it's not a recording type sky box would this work ok?

    Yeah it should work ok.

Should be fine. An installer told me that sometimes they ask you to connect the phone line after being plugged out but its rare.

Yes it will work fine just run up another feed from the bedroom to the lnb also no need for a phone line to be connected to the box.

It's the pre-hd box and it worked a treat just one existing coax from the LNB and worked first time. Thanks to all who replied.
