Hello fellow hockey fans (ice hockey and field hockey alike),

I'm delighted to announce that COYW has been promoted to Moderator of the boards.ie Hockey forum. COYW has been a regular poster here, and despite being a NY Rangers fan is a well-liked and respected member of the site.

He was also present at the inaugural Boards Hockey Beers in January for the Flyers and Rangers game.

I would like to wish him best of luck with the new role, and hopefully we'll have an NHL season soon so we can get the forum running at full speed again.
