    Hj There advice needed

i have a sky+hd box in the front room going to a non hd tv
i have a standard sky box in the back room going into a full hd tv
both are sky subscriptions (multi room)

upstairs i have 2 free to air triax boxes in 2 of the bedrooms
    no subscription
also aeriel for the poverty channels (rte .tv3 etc )

all four tvs are running from the same sat dish a quad lnb

Is this the max i can run from this dish??

i want to add a tv in bedroom 3 i do have another dish on the back of the
housethat was there when we bought the house .if i buy another sky+hd and put it down stairs using the card from the standard box put the standard box upstairs without a sky card (use it for free to air only) am i right in saying i would have to use the redundant dish thats there for the new tv .
also if i buy a saorview ready tv the aeriel will do for the poverty channels

    any advice

    thanks

just get an octo lnb ie 8 outputs, look on ebay.

If the currently unused dish is correctly aligned & still serviceable, there's no reason not to use it, unless you would prefer to remove it. No need to buy anything (except maybe cable & connectors) or disturb the working installation.

if you have the premium channels ie sky sports, or sky movies, card will need to be paired but should be no problem.

If you have 4 satellite receivers and one of them a recording version you already have 5 feeds from the dish meaning you already have an octo LNB

You should also run a cable from the RF2 out of the subscribed box and put a Sky eye in every room. This will allow you to access recordings on the main box and access all channels. You must watch the same channel as the main room but handy and zero extra per month. I would spend a little on this setup rather than buying new TVs.
