Trademark question regarding logo/mascot and brand name

Hi all, I've got a CTM on my brand name but I have a question on my logo/mascot. The mascot as such contains no text, the text is the brand name beside the mascot. They are normally together. As I have already trademarked the brand name will I be able to just tm the mascot or should it be done with text beside it. Thank.

Then you need http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trademark_symbol as well, it seems to me. BTW, I was not trying to be smart in my first post.
