I,m looking to buy a video sender, to send signal to 2nd tv in bedroom .
Room is about 23 ft from sky box.
any ones that are easy to setup,
do they all use a scart cable to the sky plus box to the transmitter.
    i had a philex 5.8 sender,for 2 years
the picture is bad now, and remote just changes the volume, doesnt change the channel,
IF i move round the reciever,or transmitter ,it doesnt
    improve the picture.
When i set it up first picture was good.

It sounds as you are now getting interference. The 5.8 sender shares the same channels as Wifi. Newer UPC modems also talk on 5.8. If the unit has the options to select a different channel try that. Both units need to be on the same channel. Also if you have any wifi modems or laptops with wifi turn them all off and see if picture improves. It could be a neighbours wifi causing trouble, so a channel change might help.

All unreliable better to run a cable and use a magic eye

In order to detect 5Ghz interference you would need a laptop that is capable of 5Ghz. Very few are. There are also wireless video cameras often used by farmers to monitor lambs etc that can cause problems.

There is a connector on a Sky box called "RF2". You would need to run a coax cable from the RF2 connector to the TV in the other room. Near the TV in the other room you fix a "Sky magic eye" and then hook the other side of the eye into the TV. This system should be free from interference, but you need to run a new cable, plugs and buy a Sky eye.
