Facial Warts

For the last few months, I have what I thought was a pimple on my face, but it turns out it is a wart. I spoke to my doctor about it and she said that freezing it will cause pigmentation on my skin and that cutting it out will cause scarring.. I have no idea what to do now. Has anyone any recommendations?

I had one removed from my palm that was there more than 5 years and I've no scarring.
