Kids looking for tablet or iPad's for Xmas

Hi the kids are looking for a tablet well really an iPad for Xmas but can't afford to buy two of them. Any suggestions on another brand that is good. I have iPad myself so don't know others..

Capacitive screen is a must and although only a 7" screen it should be fine for children

I have a 64GB/3G iPad 3 I paid 800 euro for and an 8GB nexus 7 I got for $199 in the states. The iPad is going up on Adverts tomorrow due to lack of use.

I gave a bad pointer to Amazon there. Nexus 7 is EUR199 or GBP159 direct from google.

Exactly get the Nexus 7.

They are class.

Don't waste your money on a iPad.
