Noticed earlier that the DSO countdown clock was on Newsline at 6-30 this evening ,must have taken the feed from the analogue signal.

Now the only UK Analogue is in N.I. ... for a few weeks. The last English ones closed last night 25th September 2012

A lightbulb went off in my head earlier as to why the DSO watermark was on satellite - I remember Sam The Aerialman pointing out that Carnmoney Hill (and possibly a few other relays) were sourcing the BBC One NI broadcast at 28.2 east instead of a direct relay from Divis due to reception difficulties (with Ceefax inserted by line feed to the site). Hence if Carnmoney at least is using that satellite feed to relay BBC One, then that's why the watermark is in place.

I remember a couple of years ago when south west England was going through DSO, the ITV Westcountry feed at 28.2 east suddenly had a bitrate increase to be broadcast at some relay sites.
