    hi all,just thought id share my experiance. as the title states, i got my first deer on sunday. a nice fallow pr###et
    he was out banging heads with another so i got in pretty close without too much bother. it was a gorgeous morning and a great way to open my account!my first gralloch went well too not as bad as i was anticipating:rolleyes:
    i cant wait to get back out again;)

    Well done lad we have all been there and it's a great feeling, the butchering can be hard though I'd recommend getting someone with experience to help you with your first couple then you will be good to go!:-)

    Congratulations ! As Remi243 said not a bad idea to have someone more experienced with you to help you with the finer points of the gralloch and to point out what to look for in a grotty deer.
