Betting Odds

    Can someone explain betting odds to me like what does
    1/2 mean and whats the difference between that and
    2/1 and also something like 66/1 or 250/1 can you explain :)

    You stake the denominator to win the numerator as profit. eg. @ 2/1 if you bet 1 euro then you win 2 euro profit and get your 1 euro back. Total = 3 euro

    1/2 is shorter odds which means (supposedly) it is more likely to happen, therefore you must stake more. Here, you stake 2E to win 1E profit and you get your stake back too.

    66/1 and 250/1 bets follow the same idea but they are much longer odds. So 4E on a 250 /1 bet will get you a return of E1004 (1000 profit + your stake)
