Finally TV3, Ireland's 'independent' television station is showing some original (ie itv*) programming.

[New series 1/6. Aggie MacKenzie and Kim Woodburn come to the aid of people who are literally filthy rich, attempting to improve the personal hygiene of wealthy but slovenly individuals, starting with the grand-daughter of a lord who ripped her own dental braces off but did nothing about the excess glue and only owns one bra which never gets cleaned. Fortunately, microbiologist Derren Ready is on hand to scare her out of her slobbish ways by revealing the bacteria infesting her body.]

In a world without state funded tv (BBC, RTE), i can only see it going one way - tabloid tv laced with ads for the poor plebs and subscription tv for the rest.

    scary.

I don't know which are worse - the people who commission this sh*te or the people who watch it.

That Wikipedia page makes it sound unmissable :D
Too Posh To Wash was a spin-off show of How Clean Is Your House? on Channel 4 and S4C starring Kim Woodburn and Aggie MacKenzie. The program was first broadcast on 19 October 2004. It featured 6 dirty people.Formula

In each episode, they showed a dirty person on television, while at each episode, they were given the results and shown the clean person.

Even the people who made it have probably long forgotten this rubbish. TV3 have no shame.
