One- playing towards the receptionist role. But in your cover letter you could mention that your willing to be considered for any vacany within the hotel

    Or!
I'd put in a really great one for the receptionist job- dress up smartly & hand it in directly; so they can see who you are & that you're respectable ,Well presented etc.

I'd ten leave it a few days & post one in for thR waitraissing Role.
Different people might be reviewing for both .
you don't want to water your application down for the job you have a chance with, by modifying Your CV or letter to include pseudo- waitrissing jobs.

If you don't get called for the
Receptionist then you still have a chance for the job you have no experience in.

If you happen to get offered both - most unlikely- you can turn the appropriate one down. They will have a long list of " others" - believe me!

    Good luck!

Its a hotel- there is most likely one HR person. I've worked in hotel chains before and there was still a very small HR department, if even that.

Op one CV is enough. 2 CVs over various days might confuse them and lead HR to think that you dont know what you want.

If your really worried, send or drop in one CV, then follow up with a phone call after a few days. You could say that your just calling to confirm that s/he received your CV and reiterate that whilst your qualified to work in reception, your happy to be considered for any available role.

Make two applications using the same CV but with two different cover letters to demonstrate some thought and genuine interest and in order to highlight different strengths. Two separate letters are imperative, also mentioning in each letter that you have applied for the other role within the hotel.Good luck!

I'm assuming these roles have been advertised?

I agree with the cover letter stating that you have good experience as a receptionist but that you are willing to take on other roles they have to offer as you are open minded and like learning new things.
