    Hello Hitc,
I know that moving to a new place with a small baby when you don't know anyone can be hard.
Have you registered yet with the local doctor or medical centre?
The nurses there may be aware if there is a mother and baby group in the area.
I have noticed that a lot of men are in the same situation as you minding small children so this could be a way of meeting some new people.
I would also look the the supervalue shop as they may have a notice board there which could tell you of things on locally. The catholic church parish buleten normally has local notices also.
