My grandfather was in WW1 with an Irish Regiment, at the rank of Sargeant. He was killed in October 1918. I understand that all the soldiers deaths were announced in newspapers. Can anyone help by telling me the name of the newspapers, and how I can access the announcement I am looking for.

The casualty lists were published in the Times and the Irish Independent, if you post the details I will have a look for you on Ancestry.com and the newspaper archives.(both resources are by subscription)
