Crockpot/ slow cooker

I want to but a slow cooker/ crockpot but unsure what one I should get. I don't want to spend to much but don't want to get one that's to cheap and ends up failing on me after a few uses! Im guessing slow cooker and crockpot are the same thing! Anyone one know what would be the best choice!? Also if I leave for work at…

Also if I leave for work at like 9 and turn it on low will it be ok until I come at like 5-6 o clock!?
