Last train in the evening from Galway to Dublin?

What is the last bus in the evening from Galway to Dublin? (preferably stopping in Athlone)

I'm attending an event at 7.30pm tomorrow in Galway and City Link have dropped their late service from Dublin to Galway so I'm going to assume any late buses from Galway have also been dropped

Bus Éireann have a Galway-Dublin service at 20:30hrs, arrives Athlone at 22:00hrs

The Irish Rail web site shows a train to Athlone, departing Galway at 22:15hrs, arrives 23:10hrs, it termintes in Athlone.

There may be a late train to Athlone around 9 or 10 pm, it goes no further.

Is it a bus or train you want as the subject header is train and the post mentions bus but not a train

The last trains from Galway (not WRC) are:
1805 Galway - Heuston
2215 Galway - Athlone

It's either or, it doesn't matter, I just need to get back to Athlone tomorrow

2200 Train . Bus eireann does not run that late except in summer perhaps.

Gobus go through Athlone much later again but would at most leave you on the Bypass....if they agreed to stop that is.
