some critter slid the floor drawer out of my 4 hen coop. the drawer requires a bit of a tug from me, so i don't know how a small animal could open it much less pull the whole drawer out. can a mink do that?

Could a badger get at it?

I despise Mink. It is good enough reward just to see one dead but just as a matter of interest do you ever claim the small bounty on them or skin them for their pelt minktrapper?

Yes, #116 trap is the best to use, place it in a tunnel for best results.

Mind your hand setting it or you won't see it again. Great trap. I've 2 thanks to Invincible. As what he said leave in a pass that what you wish to trap has to go through it. Its very sensitive and has 3 different settings. I do **** a brick when its set incase it snaps on me but easy when you get practice

Minktrapper, my butcher in Louisburgh said Pine Marten are pretty common here (for a pine marten). the chickens were gone. even hawks at home leave something more than a couple feathers. ground was too wet for tracks. for a fox, it's strong and i wouldn't know how it would have gotten a grip. i might put some sort of camera sensor on the coop.

I've used Conibear type trap's and Fenn types! In my opinion Fenn types are much better for mink trapping. Easier to place deep into natural, or man made tunnel's and more sensitive!
Saying that, bodygrip's do work and are meant to be great for gray squirrel, used in timber box's attached to tree trunk's!
I have a few rusting in the shed that i never had much success with!:(

Yea Fenn Mk6 will kill a mink 9 times out a 10! I'll try put up a step by step on setting Fenn's, from digging out a hole, to setting the trap, bait, eye attractant e.t.c at the weekend if i find the time, and hopefully that'll answer most of your question's!!:D

What is an eye attractant and did you ever use a coil spring trap. How is salmon as a bait.It would be useful if you could put up some pics.

As i said i will when i get a chance lad!! Salmon and trout heads are great for bait, but any fish will do even tin's of sardine's in sunflower oil! I use magpie feather's or whatever feather's i have, for eye attractant's! When trap is set just throw few feather's in the hole and another few outside it! I know a lad that only uses feather's and no bait and get's lot's a mink and less rat's!!

Best thing you can do is get a good dvd on U.K mink trapping (not American)! I got one a couple a years back from Ebay and it's brilliant. Think it's called Mink snaring and trapping by Glenn Water's, and only cost about seven euro delivered and all!

There's predator oil for pike fishing that smells awful strong that be a help. I got it free of my tackle dealer when I told him it was for trapping mink. Get it on your clothes and you may burn them

Been on the lookout for that very thing for ages now! Great stuff, put it into a squeezy bottle, (washing up liquid bottle ideal) and squirt into holes e.t.c!! Great attractant!!
