Looking for advice on use of combi receiver with a twin tuner TV

Hi my 12 year old TV has just gone dark so I am now looking to upgrade my TV and move from my current UPC analogue to a FTA setup. I have a number of questions I am looking for advice on,

    (1) I want to be able to watch any SAT/DTT programme while simultaneously recording any SAT/DTT programme which is apparently not possible with just a combi box. I also want to be able to set the timer for recordings on a single interface and likewise go to one interface to view recordings. I think I can achieve this with a Samsung Series 7 which has 2 tuners (SAT+DTT) combined with a Triax TSC 114 or a Vu+ Duo2/Ultimo linux STB?
Can anyone confirm that the above setup will deliver what I am looking for - are there any drawbacks to the setup? In addition is the Vu+ STB worth the extra cash compared to the Triax?

    (2) I may also be able to opt for Freeview as I live next to the sea on the East coast, can anyone advise me if going for a twin tuner Freeview HD STB would be simpler/cheaper than going the satellite/DTT combi route?

    (3) does anyone know if programmes recorded via either a Triax 114 or a Vu+ STB are in any way restricted i.e. can they be played on a PC or even a DVD player (I've heard that some of the combi STB's encrypt the recordings so they can only be played back via the same STB?

    (4) From what I have read I need a dual LNB to get Eurosport and Sky 1 and news on 19.2°E. Do I also need a motorised dish and would accessing these channels for viewing or recording be any different to accessing all the other channels on 28.2°E?
