water coming in thru a hole in the ceiling and down along a window. went into the attic and no sign of wet anywhere. i reckon its running along the felt and coming out just over the window but i cant see where. only happens when the wind blows a certain direction. and its happening today worse than ever before. any ideas ?

    Just seeing this now.

The rise seems ok, so the driving rain is coming in 'through/around/under' the slates, and there is so much of it coming in that the felt can't keep it out.

It could be any mixture of things, from a badly finished valley (if you've got them) to slates at incorrect spacings or battens spaced wrongly.

You need to get the roof looked at by a specialist, needless to say you shouldn't have water coming through regardless of the direction or strength of the wind.
