MOnster Orange not setting anticlockwise

I got in possesion of an Orange Monster and as it turns out, the power on it run out during transport. Getting to play with it and to set the time, I go anticlockwise when setting the time, but the minute hand is sticking in the groove at minute 58 at each hour, so you're basically restricted to an hour at doing anticlockwise.

Did any OM owners experience that with their watch? Can anyone experiment with this with theirs so I know if it's a Seiko feature preventing damage to the movement or I got a lemon?

I don't have an orange monster so I can't neither confirm nor deny your "feature" theory ....but I would suspect that the hour hand on your particular watch isn't set on its axis 100% straight so that sometimes it's higher up from the dial; sometimes lower down as it goes round and at that point it just gets caught in the rather large indeces.

Does it go the right way round without getting stuck?

I only have it for 3 hours, but it looks like it doesn't have any problem going clockwise. Will have to wait for someone to actually test their OM.

Have BM on today, no sticking when going anti-clockwise

    Thanks. It's going back then.

Did you try to adjust the day or date while the watch was between 11pm and 3am? This can cause a problem with the alignment of the hands on a 7s26.

THere was no hands misalignment, just the minute hand wouldn't pass the 58 minute marker when going anticlockwise, the date/day didn't had anything to do with it. I know that you're not supposed to adjust the date/dat between 8-4, but it was just the minute hand getting stucked.
