UPC laying wires on my road

    So as the title says UPC are laying cables along my road atm. A year ago UPC installed wires all along all the roofs of the houses so that high speed broadband was available.

    Anybody know why they are laying more wires underground now?

    I'd hope its not wires they are laying......
    Fiber cables would be a better idea .

    Why would they be laying more cables if we already have UPC broadband already? I live in a cul de sac
