Ladies vs Gents Clubs

    Hi all,

Looking for some advice please. (I only started playing 3 months ago so please forgive the possible stupidity of the question.)

My other half is now looking to start playing. Have taken her to the range and shown her the basics and she is enjoying it. Told her to get lessons etc and they're being sorted.

My query is - are clubs for women lighter/shorter? She is about 5'3" and is struggling to use my clubs (standard size). If there is a difference, I would look at getting her a cheap set like my own to get her up and running.

Recommendations would also be welcome! :D

    Thanks,

    Z.

Apologies all, I've answered my own question with a quick google. (My lazy side was out this morning!)

I would be happy to take recommendations on beginner clubs for her though? Also, would her being short (5'3" or 5'4") mean she would need smaller than normal clubs?

    Thanks,

    Z
