Sunvic Select 107 XLS - No power to Boiler

    Hello,
We very recently got our boiler serviced and that evening when we tried to turn on the heating via our Sunvic Select 107XLS thermostat noticed that the display was missing alot of decimal output.
Only a partial output was displayed and Oil central heating boiler would not turn on. We tried to reset the device etc but thermostat appears damaged.

We replaced this with new Sunvice 107 xls which I wired in myself but now even though the unit is receiving power and we can read the display and turn on/off the heating controls we're still not receiving any power to the boiler.

I've attached screen shot of the Unit front , internal wiring and the PINOUTS

The power is delivered to the boiler outside via a double socket in the boiler house.

We're planning on calling back the guy who serviced our boiler a few weeks ago but would like someone to confirm that we've wired the Sunvic unit up correctly including the "bridge" wire between comm and pin 3 ?

The cold nights are starting to creep in so would be great to get this fixed as soon as possible

    Thanks again Amanda

Should the 'bridge' not be connected to pin 2 which is internally switched to pin 3 when the timer switches on?

I've had 3 of these Sunvic (307XLS) programmers and I found them notoriously unreliable. The display goes dead and the internal relays start clicking. After the third one went kaput I changed to a different brand.

    Thanks Crosstownk,
I'll check that first thing this evening when I get home so will move 'bridge' from PIN 3 -> PIN2 instead

Will report back later hopefully with a working boiler!

    I'll revise my earlier statement.

I think you need to feed a live to COM. Then, depending on your boiler, you need to feed an OFF live and an ON live - I think this is to maintain safety circuits to the boiler when it is off. The programmer will switch between OFF live and ON live as required via terminals 2 & 3.

Essentially, in your current set up you have powered the 'programmer' circuit but haven't supplied a live that can be fed (via internal switch) to the boiler.

I think the bridge should be from L to COM.
