My first post in this forum so I thought I ask the pros in here I recently got a Marantz PM6004 amp and now I want to add better speakers to the Hi Fi.

The speakers I had before were just cheap things and I'm now looking for better sounding speakers.

I guess budget will be between 1-400 euros

Hit me with your suggestions people

If you haven't got anything yet, I have these, off the same amp, and they sound great.

Probably redundant at this stage but I thought your post said 1400 not 1-400! :o

If you haven't bought yet I have these powered by a Marantz PM4001 and they are fine speakers:

A little over budget at £400, but not by too much.

    Hi,
I have Jamo speakers which i use with my Marantz PM6010 and i found the sound quality to be very good. I currently use a Cambridge Audio Azur 640C CD player to listen to my CD collection but as i'm downloading more and more MP3s i'm looking for something to listen to them using my Marantz and Jamo speakers. Anyone have any ideas? I looked on the richersounds website but didn't see anything that i believe would suit. I don't buy Apple products so don't want anything that only connects to an Ipod.

    Thanks for any help/advice.
