Just moved to Athlone

    Hi, I just moved to Athlone with my boyfriend.. Where is there a place to make friends? :)
    Im 21, but unfortunatly clubs and pubs are out of question for the next 6 months :)

    Guess it depends what your into...

    Sportswise, you have Athlone Town FC, Bucanneers RFC and the RSC Sports Centre for Swimming, Gym, Astroturf games etc.

    Beyond that, if your working, im sure it wont be that difficult to meet people.

    Dont knock the pub, always a good place to start off random chats, alot of sound heads up and down the towns bars. Best of luck

    I suppose it depends on what your interests are.

    There are plenty of different sports clubs around Athlone that you could join.
