Handtec also do a good deal on it, my Amazon 500 should be sitting on my doorstep when I get home, I am such a gadget nerd its not even funny.

Thanks. I'll check them out. ChainReaction seem to be the same price as Amazon as well.

ProBikeKit (UK) have some Garmin offers on at the moment as well, but even those offers can't really compete with the Handtec prices. At one point a few months back ProBikeKit matched Handtec's price for the Edge 500, and in that scenario they were worth considering since you earn points with ProBikeKit which ultimately gives you a discount on some later purchase, but any time I've checked I've not seen anyone actually better Handtec for price.

I've got an ad in for Trek 1.5 with Edge 500 + HRM which I would sell separate for €200 - its as good as new

Wish I'd seen this before I put an order in with HandTec...damn. Has anyone ordered from there before? What's the service/delivery times like?

    Aquanaut,
Would you sell the 500 without the hrm? If so, how much?

No - sorry but I'd find it a bit more difficult to sell an HRM without a Garmin :)

Yes I bought my Garmin 500 bundle from Handtec, I had no problems it arrived 2 days after shipping day.

Handtec is the cheapest place to buy the Garmin 500....highly recommended.

Anyone know the main difference between these 2 models? I've looked at the specs and they both seem to do the same thing. Only one is uglier and more expensive!!

Just arrived today. Already effed up putting the pedal magnet on so I'll have to go and get myself new cable ties...

Looking forward to testing it out later anyway.
