Marquee or awning

We have 2 or 3 parties a year in a 3 bed semi-d where there are usually 25-30 kids and 25-30 adults. If the weather is bad, it's a bit crowded in the house. We were thinking about getting a cheap 3m * 6m marquee for €200 to cater for the few times we might need it, but have now started to consider a 5m * 3m awning across the back of our house instead. We would velcro PVC walls to the awning. Has anyone here used a marquee/awning for weather insurance for parties and what's your opinion? As we see it at the moment

    Marquee Pros
    Cheaper - €200
    Most people familiar with marquees

    Marquee Cons
Takes a few hours to put up, could be left out of sync with weather at party time.
Takes up storage space in shed
For €200 we expect the frame and walls to be flimsy

    Awning Pros
Can deploy/retract in minutes to suit weather
Could be used occasionally during the summer when it's too sunny/hot on the patio

    Awning Cons
    More expensive - €1000
A walled awning might end up looking a bit unconventional

    All feedback appreciated
