Cheapest place to get a phone unlocked in Dublin?

    Can anyone suggest somewhere they got their previously locked phone unlocked so it could be used with any network in Dublin city?

    there are some shops that do this both on dame st. - on right side as you face trinity college. another one on north quays near o'connell bridge - left of bridge as you face spire. the shops can be identified by the fact that they are selling second hand mobiles and accessories.

    unlock charge will depend on phone type. could cost from 10 to 30 euro.
    alternative is to use www.fastgsm.com to get a code.

    There a chinese shop near Dunnes Stores on George's street. He does all phones and he is reasonable. What type of phone because some of them are easy to do yourself ? Also, if you are out of contract you can ring the network provider and they are obliged to unlock the phone for free.:)
