xrocker fault ?

Shortly after I started plugging my phone into my xrocker to play music through my phones audio jack broke not once but twice (i sent it away for repair) I don't know if this is the definite cause of this fault in my phone but it's a hunch was I not supposed to plug my phone into it or have yous had any similar problems…
