Is there any "versus" type mode?

23-09-2012 11:10PM#1Newly addicted (and on the pocket version, so can't wait to get the full thing) but I can't help but wonder about more.
I've built this epic castle (well, for my first build it's epic, not a patch on some of the ones you see) but... now I'm somewhat wondering why I did it. All of the mobs can be taken on with a trusty sword, and my original shelter served me just fine. Kinda wish I had some minions to fill it or hordes to battle against or something.
It's probably just the limitations of the pocket version, but I kinda want more challenges. At the moment I can prrrretty much terraform the whole landscape and there's nothing those pesky spiders can do about it.
What I'd love is a Minecraft RTS mod. Yeaaaaaah

Yeah, I kinda assumed as much. I was looking for some guides and wow, the amount of stuff that has been added since the start.Completely Agree, there are so many mods out there to handle that.
Google Invasion Mod to get an idea.
Faction Mods are also available, but you need to be on a server for that.
Also don't forget to try the boards survival multi player
Yeah, I think even multiplayer would do the trick for me. At the moment I feel like I'm playing a FPS with god mode on... it's becoming old fast. Having said that, I'm currently engaging in a scheme to bring an underground spring to my castle from a distant lake. The water isn't behaving as I expected, so, that'll keep me occupied for a bit. Think I may need to build a lock type system, but I'm not sure if the water behaviour is advanced enough to allow it.cherryghost wrote: »On a side note, I'm really interested in the castle you made on the Pocket version. I'm sure there's an easy screen capture yokey. Though most of it is underground (had this "great idea" where I'd access all my mines from the basement of my little fort. So far it's working out ok...) so maybe I need to do a quick lil video or something. It's the glass ceilings to maximise light that are the real selling point of the property.
