Cheapest place to get whiskey in Cork?

    Wow that title makes me sound like a tramp. So I'm recently/about to graduate and I'd like to get two of my lecturers a thank you gift. Wine seemed like the obvious first choice but there are a million types of wine and I know next to nothing about them. Seems fairly likely I'd buy something awful there. So second plan is whiskey. I'm exactly broke but I'd like to keep my spending down here. I don't want to buy the cheapest stuff but I'd like to find the cheapest place to buy a decent bottle. I figured a normal 750ml bottle of Jameson or Middleton Bushmills or such would probably do fine. If you know anywhere doing a two for one or just a cheap bottle at the moment that'd be great.

    Jameson = 25 euro a bottle
    Midleton = 100+ a bottle

    A bit of a jump there! :P

    Tesco are usually very cheap!

    Whoops! Got Midleton and Bushmills mixed up there. Tesco seems like the obvious place yeah.

    Pretty sure Tesco have 2* 1L of bushmills for €40
