Hi ,i have a triax trilink connected to a triax tsc114 box and an eye connected from rf2 in another room,is it possible to put a second eye in another room using a 2 way power passing splitter on the rf2 cable,or do i need an ir amplifier?,ive tried it but lose power at each eye when splitter is connected?

Does the splitter pass power in both directions or only from outputs to input?

Yes correct power pass from output to input, what type of splitter would work?

Something like this. The directional ones are useful, say, with a masthead amplifier, making sure the power goes only to the amp & not to other connected tvs.

    looking for assistance

main tv has a combo box on hdmi 1 and a skybox on hdmi 2. I also have an analogue tune in for a tri link box from upstairs that lets me watch a french tnt sat box.

From this set up i want to be able to watch the skybox (setanta sub in another room) without cables etc. could i set up another tri link to do this from the skybox and manually tune in the other tv? and is it enough for the skybox to be on rather than be watching it as this would defeat the purpose..............the amount of rugby on bt sport has banished me to the other room. Any advice would be grateful.
    Thanks in advance.

A Tri-Link won't do anything without cables. The Sky box won't need a Tri-Link if it has RF outputs, anyway.

It probably would be possible to use existing cables to send the signal to the other TV (maybe use diplexers), depending on how they are routed.

If that isn't possible & you can't run a dedicated cable then, a wireless video sender is another option.

If the Sky box & the other TV are in adjoining rooms, you might be able to sneak a cable through the wall . . .

You can add a Sky IO link to the box for RF, thread here - http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2057092674
