    I heard from a m8 that we get a 2 week midterm in october? Is this true?:eek:

    It's not quite 2 weeks. The midterm itself is just one week, from the 29th October this year. But the preceding Thursday and Friday are graduation days which you will also get off (although now that I think about it, I'm not sure we got them off last year. Perhaps it's just not an official day off), because the the place will be full of graduates and their families, and many lecturers will be attending graduations.
