Custom made furniture (dining table)

New build in sight

I am looking for a dining table i have in mind but have failed to find the one i want within my budget and exactly what i am looking for.

I would love a square or round table that can seat up to 12 when extended i.e. 3 at each side if square. But I want it to seat 8 at all times, so 2 at each side if square.

The below picture illistrates something similar to what i would like but the price is in sane €6000+ for teh size i want and then i dont even want this colour!

So i am hoping there is someone out there that could make this for far less if that is possible?

Or if someone knows where i can actually buy reasonably priced furniture that would be great too

You should have gone to the Selfbuild and Home Improve show in Citywest 2 weekends ago.

There were lots of bespoke furniture makers there with huge 10-12 seater dining tables on display.

Thank you Paddy147, the reason I didnt go was the fact that last time i went i found there was no furniture stands and it was all the actual build side of things which was fantastic when we needed it, but i didnt think it would have anything we needed at this stage of our build! I'm gutted now! Typical! I will have a look at your link.

The kitchen and furniture stands were down the back of the exhibition hall near the bar and seating/eating area.

We spoke to one chap who had a bespoke solid oak table there on display.It would very easily seat 10-12 people,I think the table was something in the region of 3.500 euro.

One of the largest thickest tables Ive seen in quite a while.
