Well, have you tried Googling the company? Given their recent 'performance' at the Olympics, there should be plenty of material!!

Attire? Suit with white blouse/shirt. If you're male, a nice tie as well.

Make-up (if female) should be light. Don't pack it on. Perfume should't be heavy. Arm yourself with a list of questions to ask at the end. And NEVER discuss money or perks.

Like I say. Google the company. Since you're hoping to work for them, the least you can do is a little research into the company and what they do.

Turn up on time, dress up smart. As the previous posters said google the company and what services thay provide here in Ireland.

    http://www.g4s.ie/en-IE/

Forget about the Olympics  I doubt the interviewer wants to hear about negative press about their company. So its a waste of your time.

Have some good questions to ask the inerviewer at the end of it and dont ask about money.

    Good Luck

Of course, the company wishes to know only the positive stuff!! My point was to Google the company to find out more about them. Given what happened at the Olympics, it wouldn't be difficult to find out about them...

If you need a job, then any job will do. But from past experience of G4S (both as an employee and as a client) and in particular their HR and accounts departments, my advice would be look for something else if you can. They are not a great company to work for, don't treat staff very well and morale is quite low in the company. You can tell as much if you ever need to phone their accounts department - the tone of voice alone of the staff speaks volumes about how much they enjoy their jobs!

Which division is it you are interviewing with? Integrated Services, Secure Solutions or Security?

What has that got to do with the OP's request? Or how is it beneficial?

OP - You will be asked questions related to the role, you don't need to know about the company although doing a little research always helps.
It won't be much different to any other interview, your skills will be assessed and more importantly your prior work experience, you will be asked the usual sort of interview questions, what do you have to offer, what sort of salary you would be happy with, what your strengths are.

Don't worry too much it's also just a general chat at the end of the day and if they have selected you for interview it's because your cv matches what they're looking for, it's just up to you to prove to them you have what it takes. Good luck!

Please read my previous posts. Did you understand the point I was trying to make? The OP wanted info on G4S and I suggested that given they were in the news fairly recently, it shouldn't be too difficult to find out about them. The OP then asked what the story was with the Olympics. I told them. End of.
