I hope ye can help me. I have an 04 Audi A4 & I have a problem with the Air Conditioning.
Hot Air blows out on the passenger side all the time even when on a low setting. Drivers side is fine.
This is a bit of a pain

Dual zone climate control? is the passenger side set to 'lo' too ?

Sounds like the heater matrix flap motor is giving trouble. If you remove your glovebox you can access the motors. The one with the red lever is the one that controls heat flaps. Its held on with three bolts, if you remove it but leave plugged in you can try and see what isn't moving by fiddling with the temp controls.

If you can work out which one is at fault you can try and grease it and see if it gets going or just get a new motor from Audi, not too dear.

To grease it, remove the motor and it has six clips all around which you need to undo, inside is just big screws which you can get the grease onto with a matchstick.

    Put back together and try.

    Good luck

I had a similar problem on a 2003 A4, if the car had been left in hot sun the climate control went bonkers blowing out hot air on the driver's side only irrespective of the temperature setting, bit of a nuisance when it's 25+ outside!

I hoovered out the little grille on the climate control unit (which was pretty dusty) and the issue didn't recur, not sure if that was coincidence or not though!
