Help with laptop for collage

Sorry to start a new thread but i have been looking through all the other threads and couldn't get the information i needed.

Could someone please help me with recommending a laptop for college. I have been doing a lot of research but don't have a clue what to be looking for.

The laptop will be used for Microsoft office, music downloads, watching movies, Internet browsing and storing word documents, power points etc.

I don't mind buying online and I am looking to buy one this week.
Budget is 500e

Thank you for the reply I appreciate it. Would you recommend the laptop above over the Acer.? I'm just looking for a laptop free of problems and that will last me my life through college and to get the best deal possible.

Personally, I'd choose pretty much anything over Acer. Both are budget laptops, you buy cheap, you get cheap. The Acer comes with more RAM and a bigger HDD. Either way, ~ 50 Euro will buy you an extended 3 yrs warranty.

Toshiba has been recommended in a few threads, would it be a good buy and also do you think it would fit my needs.?

It's a first gen Core i3 but yes, it would fit the bill. OTOH, 55 Euro more for a 3 gen Core i5 laptop is a no brainer.

Id say get a cheapo laptop with a 3 year warranty.

400 for a decent laptop with 3 year warranty
