    Seriously.

Am I to understand that using the alarm function of the new clock app on iPad 2*, I cannot set a single alarm for say, next Weds at 1000, only a recurring alarm for Wednesdays at 1000 and then delete the alarm after that time?

Seriously? Or am I missing something?

*I realise it can be done on iPad 3 using Siri.

Edit: can only do it in Siri too one day ahead. Weird.

You could set an alert on your calendar for that date and time..

I could indeed, absolutely no problem there.

What I am astonished about is the introduction of a dedicated clock app with a crippled alarm option.
